About me

Born in the U.K. I'm a amateur genealogist/military historian, tracing my family tree's military background in various wars and conflicts earliest recorded to present day !

In 2005, I started researching and compiling my family tree, building my tree on Ancestry.com and Worldconnect.rootsweb.ancestry.com (Now closed). The same year I helped to compile mini - biographies of World War II servicemen, (including; Lt Co Rodney Trevor Nott MBE, RFD) as part of an initiative programme by the local government.

My father served in the Royal Air Force and a lot of my immediate family are ex-service personnel.

I'm a ex-member (associate) of The Royal British Legion, Scotland. and a current Friend of Clan Fraser, Clan Fraser of Lovat.

About website

I have always had the utmost respect for service personnel, so in 2011 - I created a website called, “ Lest We Forget ” to trace all my American, Australian, British, Canadian and New Zealand family, who have served in war, battle or were part of conflict. This is a private contribution to the memory of my family, as well as a memorial to all those who gave their lives.
(This current version is the new updated version of that website, still being tweaked and should be considered a work in progress, that is being added to and updated progressively.)

The branches of my web site include;

Each individual is linked to my Watson's of Scotland website where you can see where he or she came from, before conflict or enlisting.
All person's named on this site are either, Related by blood, i.e. by a Common Genetic Heritage or non-blood related individuals to, Graeme Watson. (When indicated.) ...and all are part of one family tree.

This website is privately funded and developed by me.
