Peterhead, 5th Gordon Highlanders Memorial

The monument was unveiled on 30th September 1923, dedicated to the men of the 5th Battalion the Gordon Highlanders who were killed in the Great War (First World War) World War I.
It was erected in front of the Drill Hall in Kirk Street but since the demolition of the Drill Hall in 1975,
the monument now occupies a position at a roundabout at the entrance to the town.
